Upward Extensions Guidance 2021

Permitted development rights that covered a range of building types that allows them to go upwards and deliver new homes came into effect in August 2020. This document has been updated following the amendments made to the GPDO in August 2021 via The Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development)(England)(Amendment) (No.2) Order 2021.

We have created a guidance document that is designed to assist those who might be interested in the route to achieving new residential dwellings.
