About the Project
The Photobook Café is a specialist gallery and café with one of Europe’s largest archive of photos. They had been operating as a café and want to expand the uses to a gallery, café and bar. This would enable them to hold launches for photographers and artists.
Planning Insight advised on the scope of the application and submitted the scheme to the London Borough of Hackney. Working alongside Andy Newman who is a specialist licensing consultant we delivered a comprehensive consent that afforded later opening hours and a range of uses in the heart of Shoreditch.
