Approached by our long standing client to appraise the site prior to acquisition, we identified several opportunities to maximise the site for residential uses including the vacant rear workshop.
Advising on the proposal and necessary supporting information, we prepared a detailed and robust application for prior approval to convert the workshop into three residential units. This included providing an assessment and evidence that the use was formerly B1c, therefore benefiting from PD rights under Class MA.
During the application, we provided responses to consultation comments including rebutting matters not relevant for consideration. We also negotiated pre-commencement conditions.
