Instructed to deliver a fully co-ordinated design and planning submission, we put together a team of consultants to provide the necessary inputs including daylight, transport, viability, energy and air quality.  A robust submission was necessary in order to maximise the development of the site.  Planning Insight acted as the lead on the planning submission.

Being a difficult and constrained urban site, a policy compliant level of affordable housing would make the scheme unviable and so a viability assessment was submitted to demonstrate that a reduced provision would be necessary.

Negotiations took place during the determination including on matters relating to design and the relationship with the Councils Mini-Holland cycling project.

Planning permission was granted following the first ever virtual planning committee in the country.
