Following the previous application being withdrawn we were approached by the architect and the client to assist them with a revised scheme. We advised the client to engage with the council pre-application service in order to get a formal response in which the officers concerns were set out and could be dealt with through a resubmission.

The advice received confirmed that in general support would be given to the proposed development following some minor changes to the proposed layout.

With our support and a detailed Planning Statement, permission was granted for a 5 storey building of 9 flats with roof terrace and basement.

• Closely working with the architect and client to amend the design in response to a previously unsuccessful application.
• No reduction in the number of units proposed.
