Following agreement with the existing leaseholders of Fieldview Court to deliver enhancements to the block together with the provision of additional units, we sought application advice from the LPA principally on the external design.

We co-ordinated a detailed submission for prior approval under Part 20 of the GPDO for a total of 11 flats over two storeys together with additional parking on the site.    Approval was secured in 8 weeks.

We successfully worked with the the project team comprising of developer, architect, transport, daylight and visualisations to prepare a detailed and compliant scheme.

• Airspace permission granted following pre-application advice and minor tweaks to the landscaping during determination
• The consented scheme is taller than the surrounding townscape which required justification and negotiation with officers.
• 11 flats approved under Part 20 so no affordable housing.
• Approval secured in only 8 weeks.
