We provided specialist advice on securing Prior Approval for a new storey on an existing block, following the LPA’s failure to deliver pre-application advice.

We successfully worked with the developer, architect and consultant team to prepare a compliant scheme and carefully justified the increase in height. The implementation of the scheme is underway to deliver housing in a location where delivery has been challenging.

• Airspace permission granted following lack of engagement with the LPA.
• The first Permitted Development Upward Extension granted by LB Havering.
• The consented scheme is taller than the surrounding townscape which required careful justification and negotiation with officers.
