Planning Insight was instructed to provide expert Planning Advice, and a detailed Planning Statement, to accompany the clients planning application.
Following the clients previous application being withdrawn, we were approached by the architect, and the client, to assist with compiling a revised scheme. We advised the client to engage with the council pre-application service, in order to get a formal response, in which the officers concerns were set out and could be dealt with through a resubmission.
The advice received confirmed that general support would be given to the proposed development, following some minor changes to the proposed layout. The comments were reviewed, and the scheme amended, before being submitted as a full planning application accompany for;
Erection of a five storey building with roof terrace, and part basement (underground parking), containing 5 x2 bedroom and 3 x1 bedroom flats, and 1 studio flat, with associated car parking, cycle and bin storage.
Planning permission was successfully granted.
